What is a ductless HVAC system?
Otherwise known as a mini-split level system, ductless HVAC systems heat and cool your home without using ductwork to transport the air. The air handlers and the compressors/condensers are separated out, with the air handlebars being inside and the compressors being outside. Each room has its own air handler and is connected to the compressor outdoors. These little mini-units are perfect for heating and cooling room additions, sunrooms, garages, workshops, and more. A ductless HVAC system works the same as your traditional air conditioning and heating unit, except that it has multiple compressors that aren't housed in a single unit.
